There’s a new star at the head of this year’s Tour de France cycle race, our head-turning Ford Mustang as a scouting car during the gruelling 3,519 kilometre race. To help perform this vital role, the Team Sky Mustang is equipped with radios to monitor the race, special Radio Tour broadcasts to communicate with other team members, a TV to follow the race coverage, and an attention-grabbing horn to warn spectators in the road ahead.
Ford is Team Sky’s exclusive supplier of cars and vans. In addition to the Mustang, the Team Sky fleet includes Mondeo Estate, Mondeo 5-door, S-MAX, Edge, and Transit models.
