Franco Nugnes is Editor in chief of Motorsport.com Italy. He started collaborating with the newspaper Il Secolo XIX in 1979 before joining the editorial staff of Autosprint in 1985 where he remained for 20 years until he reached the role of deputy-editor. Since 2001 he moved to SportAutoMoto, weekly car and motorcycle racing weekly and in 2009 he participated in the birth of Omnicorse.it, before the site entered the Motorsport.com network. Married with Laura, he has two children, Matteo and Giorgia. He has raced in touring car and GT achieving several victories.
