FP2 Moto2 Spanyol: Schrotter ungguli Marquez, Dimas ke-30
Marcel Schrotter unggul sangat tipis atas Alex Marquez pada Free Practice 2 Moto2 Spanyol, sedangkan Dimas Ekky terpaut lebih dari dua detik.

Tetsuta Nagashima mendominasi hingga pertengahan sesi latihan bebas kedua, Jumat (3/5). Setelah itu, posisi puncak diambil alih Augusto Fernandez ketika tersisa waktu delapan menit.
Selang tiga menit, Schrotter merebut urutan teratas. Sempat digusur Jorge Navarro, pembalap Dynavolt Intact GP itu mampu membalas dan kembali menduduki slot terdepan.
Dengan catatan waktu tercepat 1 menit 42,233 detik, Schrotter unggul begitu tipis, yakni hanya 0,011 detik atas Marquez yang menempati posisi kedua. Sedangkan tiga besar dilengkapi Navarro.
Fernandez akhirnya menghuni urutan keempat, diikuti Nagashima pada posisi kelima dan Bo Bendsneyder berhasil tempat ketujuh, di depan Thomas Luthi dan rookie Fabio Di Giannantonio.
Posisi kesembilan menjadi milik Sam Lowes. Ia mengalahkan Remy Gardner. Sementara pembalap Sky Racing Team VR46, Luca Marini, terlempar dari 10 besar.
Dimas mencetak catatan waktu lebih lambat dibandingkan saat FP1. Ia menuntaskan FP2 dengan 1 menit 44,463 detik. Catatan waktunya sempat dibatalkan karena melewati batas trek.
Insiden kecelakaan dialami Khairul Idham Pawi. Alhasil, sang pembalap Malaysia tidak dapat menyelesaikan sesi latihan kedua. Bahkan harus menjalani operasi.
