GALERI: Pembalap dan tim Moto3 2018
Sebanyak 28 pembalap muda bakal bertarung untuk menjadi yang terbaik di kelas Moto3. Rookie Alonso Lopez merupakan yang termuda di grid.
Juara dunia 2017, Joan Mir promosi ke Moto2 bersama Marc VDS. Begitu pula Romano Fenati, Jules Danilo dan Bo Bendsneyder, sedangkan Manuel Pagliani tampil di ajang CEV, serta Maria Herrera pada World Supersport 300.
Duo pembalap lainnya, Patrik Pulkkinen tak akan tampil pada musim 2018, sementara Juanfran Guevara memutuskan pensiun dini, ia sendiri telah digantikan Kazuki Masaki.
Selain rookie Lopez, empat pembalap yang bakal debut semusim penuh, antara lain Jaume Masia, Dennis Foggia, Kazuki Masaki dan Makar Yurchenko.
Kemudian tujuh pembalap telah mengoleksi kemenangan Moto3, yakni Niccolo Antonelli (3), Aron Canet (3), Enea Bastianini (2), Livio Loi (1), Andrea Migno (1), John McPhee (1) dan Jorge Martín (1).
Pembalap termuda di grid Moto3 adalah Lopez, yang akan berusia 16 tahun 87 hari pada seri pembuka Qatar akhir pekan ini.
Dan empat pembalap yang berusia 22 tahun atau lebih, meliputi Antonelli (22 tahun 23 hari), Migno (22 tahun 68 hari), John McPhee (23 tahun 247 hari) dan Jakub Kornfeil (24 years 344 hari).
