FP3 Moto3 Italia: Arbolino di puncak, Gerry ke-28 lagi
Tony Arbolino menguasai Free Practice 3 Moto3 Italia, sedangkan Gerry Salim kembali menempati posisi sama seperti saat FP1.

Pembalap Snipers Team itu menorehkan catatan waktu tercepat 1 menit 56,637 detik. Arbolino sekaligus menggusur Alonso Lopez dari posisi puncak, dengan Dennis Foggia mengklaim urutan ketiga.
Posisi kempat diduduki Jaume Masia, di depan John McPhee dan Sergio Garcia. Sementara tempat ketujuh dihuni Kaito Toba, yang mengungguli Aron Canet serta kompatriot Tatsuki Suzuki.
Melengkapi 10 besar adalah Niccolo Antonelli, memaksa Lorenzo Dalla Porta turun pada posisi ke-11. Kemudian raihan kurang memuaskan dipetik Ayumu Sasaki. Pembalap Petronas Sprinta Racing itu hanya urutan ke-25.
Adapun, Gerry mengawali sesi latihan bebas ketiga sangat baik. Sempat merebut posisi ketujuh dan bertahan cukup lama dalam 10 besar. Namun, jelang berakhirnya FP3, Bonex perlahan turun.
Walau mampu meningkatkan catatan waktu – menembus di bawah 1 menit 58 detik, Gerry harus puas untuk menempati posisi ke-28. Ia sendiri terpaut 1,3 detik.
Berdasarkan hasil kombinasi, 14 pembalap yang lolos otomatis ke Q2, antara lain Arbolino, Lopez, Foggia, Masia, McPhee, Garcia, Toba, Canet, Suzuki, Antonelli, Dalla Porta, Rodrigo, Fenati dan Vietti.
