FP3 Moto3 Valencia: Bezzecchi di depan Bastianini-Arbolino
Runner-up sementara Moto3 2018, Marco Bezzecchi, menguasai sesi latihan ketiga di Valencia.
Cuaca di sekitar Sirkuit Ricardo Tormo, Sabtu (17/11), jauh lebih bersahabat dibanding sesi latihan Jumat. Raul Fernandez membuka sesi dengan waktu tercepat, sebelum direbut Lorenzo Dalla Porta dengan 1 menit 52,215 detik. Tak lama berselang, Marco Bessecchi terjatuh highside di Tikungan 14.
Alonso Lopez mendapat tantangan dari juara Moto3 2018, Jorge Martin, serta Fernandez. Pembalap yang terakhir disebut membukukan 1 menit 50,680 detik, sementara Lopez tersungkur di Tikungan 4.
Memasuki pertengahan sesi, Bezzecchi mulai panas. Pembalap Redox PruestelGP tersebut menguntit Fernandez dengan selisih 0,105 detik. Upayanya membuahkan hasil dengan waktu terkencang 1 menit 50,038 detik, lima menit jelang berakhirnya sesi.
Hendak memperbaiki catatannya, Tatsuki Suzuki kehilangan kendali atas motor nomor 24 di Tikungan 8. Beberapa menit kemudian, rekan kompatriotnya, Ayumu Sasaki, juga tersungkur.
Dua menit tersisa, Bezzecchi tak tinggal diam. Berbekal waktu terbaik 1 menit 49,406, pengguna nomor motor 12 tersebut keluar sebagai yang tercepat, di depan Enea Bastianini dan Tony Arbolino.
Lima besar direngkuh masing-masing oleh Fernandez dan Jakub Kornfeil. Suzuki berakhir di posisi ketujuh, mengungguli Marcos Ramirez dan Fabio Di Giannantonio. Sepuluh pembalap terbaik ditutup oleh Albert Arenas.
