Hasil FP3 Moto3 Austria: Guevara Tercepat, Andi Gilang di Luar 20 Besar
Pembalap GasGas Aspar Team, Izan Guevara, memuncaki sesi latihan bebas ketiga (FP3) Moto3 Austria, Sabtu (14/8/2021), dengan Andi Gilang hanya posisi ke-25.

Guevara mencatatkan waktu lap terbaiknya 1 menit 35,838 detik jelang menit-menit akhir. Ia hanya terpaut 0,060 detik dari Tony Arbolino sebagai pemegang rekor lap di Red Bull Ring.
Pembalap Spanyol itu juga menggeser Deniz Oncu yang sebelumnya memimpin. Kecepatan yang ditunjukkan Guevara membuatnya berhasil unggul 0,066 detik atas rivalnya itu.
Sedangkan posisi ketiga ditempati oleh rekan setim Guevara, Sergio Garcia, dengan catatan waktu 1 menit 35,907 detik.
Duo Indonesian Racing Gresini, Gabriel Rodrigo dan Jeremy Alcoba, menembus posisi 10 besar. Hasil itu pun memastikan mereka lolos otomatis ke kualifikasi kedua (Q2).
Sebenarnya, Rodrigo hampir mendapatkan posisi lebih baik jika lajunya tak terhalang oleh beberapa pembalap menjelang lurusan start/finis.
Pembalap asal Argentina itu lebih baik dibandingkan Guevara di sektor ketiga. Sayang, ia hanya tercatat berada di posisi keempat dengan waktu lap terbaiknya 1 menit 35,957 detik.
Sementara rekan setimnya, Alcoba, menyelesaikan FP3 di posisi keenam serta berjarak 0,214 detik dari pembalap tercepat.
Apes bagi Pedro Acosta. Pemimpin klasemen Moto3 itu harus terlempar dari posisi 10 besar usai membukukan waktu lap 1 menit 36,289 detik. Masalah teknis membuatnya kesulitan.
Meski begitu, rookie asal Spanyol itu tetap lolos langsung ke Q2, karena Moto3 menempatkan 14 pembalap tercepat yang tidak perlu mengikuti Q1.
Sedangkan wakil Indonesia, Andi Gilang, belum juga menemukan kecepatannya di Sirkuit Red Bull Ring. Ia hanya mampu berada di posisi ke-25.
Adapun, pemuda asal Bulukumba, Sulawesi Selatan itu mencetak lap time terbaik 1 menit 36,941 detik dan tertinggal 1,103 detik dari Guevara.
