Moto3 Jerman: Sasaki sabet pole perdana
Pembalap Petronas Sprinta Racing, Ayumu Sasaki, berhasil pole position pada kualifikasi Moto3 Jerman.

Di tengah persaingan ketat antara Marcos Ramirez dan Jakub Kornfeil dalam memperebutkan start terdepan, Sasaki membuat gebrakan ketika merebut pole position pada detik-detik akhir.
Membubuhkan 1 menit 26,135 detik, The Crazy Boy klaim status polesitter. Untuk pertama kalinya ia grid terdepan, juga pembalap Jepang pertama yang pole position sejak Youichi Ui pada 2003 silam.
Raihan apik turut ditorehkan Kaito Toba. Pembalap Honda Team Asia itu mengamankan start kedua, menungguli Ramirez, dengan Lorenzo Dalla Porta dan Romano Fenati masuk lima besar.
Kornfeil akhirnya posisi keenam, di depan Albert Arenas, dengan Dennis Foggia menempati grid kedelapan. Sedangkan pembalap Gresini Racing, Gabriel Rodrigo, kesembilan.
Rekan setim Sasaki, John McPhee, menuntaskan kualifikasi pada posisi ke-10. Ia sendiri lebih lambat 0,7 detik. Sementara rookie Can Oncu akan start dari urutan ke-12.
Hasil buruk dipetik pemuncak klasemen sementara, Aron Canet. Kesalahan strategi yang berujung pada blunder membuat ia gagal lolos dari Q1 ke Q2. Spaniard pun start ke-22.
Moto3 Jerman akan digelar Minggu (7/7) besok, pukul 16:00 WIB.
