Moto3 Le Mans: Antonelli pole position, Binder start kedua
Niccolo Antonelli menjadi pembalap kelima berbeda Moto3 yang merebut pole position dalam sesi kualifikasi di Sirkuit Jerez, Spanyol, Sabtu (7/5). Ia mengalahkan Brad Binder dalam sesi yang diwarnai sejumlah kecelakaan.

Jakub Kornfeil memimpin sesi pada menit awal, tapi lalu digusur oleh Romano Fenati pada stint pertamanya.
Binder kemudian mengambilalih posisi teratas, sebelum kemudian dipaksa turun oleh Nicolo Bulega saat sesi memasuki menit-menit akhir.
Posisi pertama kembali ditempati Binder tepat pada sesi kualifikasi berakhir. Akan tetapi, percobaan terakhir Antonelli membawa pembalap Italia itu naik ke posisi teratas.
Rookie Aron Canet merebut posisi start ketiga, lebih lambat 0,002 detik, dan sekaligus mengungguli rekan setimnya di Estrella Galicia, Jorge Navarro.
Duo SKY Racing Team VR46, Fenati dan Bulega melengkapi enam besar, di mana keduanya terpaut 0,132 detik. Bulega sempat terjatuh dalam sesi kualifikasi. Meski tak mendapat cedera, tampak ia menahan rasa sakit pada lengan kirinya.
Juanfran Guevara berada pada posisi start ketujuh setelah mengalahkan Fabio Quartararo, yang juga sempat mengalami kecelakaan.
Posisi start 10 besar diisi oleh Khairul Idham Pawi dan Fabio Di Giannantonio.
Dan pembalap lain yang juga terjatuh dalam sesi kualifikasi ini, di antaranya Jakub Kornfeil, Gabriel Rodrigo, Joan Mir, Adam Norrodin dan Fabio Spiranelli.
