FP3 MotoGP Austria: Marquez tercepat, Rossi amankan Q2
Marc Marquez kembali terkencang pada Free Practice 3 MotoGP Austria. Valentino Rossi berhasil menghindari Q1.
Walau tampil dominan sejak menit awal sesi latihan ketiga di Red Bull Ring, Sabtu (10/8), Marquez mendapat perlawanan kuat dari Maverick Vinales. Apalagi setelah posisi puncak diduduki sang kompatriot ketika FP3 menyisakan waktu 11 menit.
Namun, lagi-lagi tanpa kesulitan berarti, Marquez merebut urutan teratas. Pembalap Repsol Honda itu menorehkan waktu lap tercepat 1 menit 23,251 detik atau unggul 0,340 detik atas Top Gun. Sedangkan tempat ketiga dihuni Andrea Dovizioso.
Rekan setim Danilo Petrucci membawa Ducati melengkapi empat besar. Di belakangnya ada Fabio Quartararo yang mengklaim posisi kelima, dengan Rossi mengamankan slot Q2 usai menempati urutan keenam. The Doctor sempat terancam ke Q1.
Kemudian tempat ketujuh diisi Jack Miller, dilanjutkan Takaaki Nakagami yang mengungguli Alex Rins dan Pol Espargaro. Adapun, Cal Crutchlow gagal lolos otomatis ke Q2, lantaran hanya posisi ke-11 setelah menjalani sesi FP3.
Berdasarkan hasil kombinasi, para pembalap yang melaju ke Q2, antara lain Marquez, Vinales, Dovizioso, Petrucci, Quartararo, Rossi, Miller, Nakagami, Rins serta Espargaro.
Kualifikasi akan dimulai pukul 19:10 WIB malam ini.
