GALERI: Kemenangan Rossi-Marquez bersama Honda
Dengan kemenangannya di MotoGP San Marino, Marc Marquez total telah mengumpulkan 33 kemenangan bersama Honda, dan menyamai torehan milik Valentino Rossi.
Sejak debutnya di MotoGP pada 2013, Marquez telah membalap bersama Honda. Torehannya di Misano menandai kemenangannya yang ke-33 bersama pabrikan Jepang tersebut.
Ironisnya, raihan itu ditorehkan ketika Rossi, rival yang melakoni debut GP500cc/MotoGP bersama Honda pada 2000.
Hingga kepindahannya ke Yamaha pada 2004, Rossi mencetak 33 kemenangan bersama Honda. Angka yang saat ini disamai oleh Marquez.
Rossi dan Marquez saat ini menempati posisi kedua dalam daftar pembalap yang paling banyak memenangi balapan bersama Honda. Mereka tertinggal dari legenda MotoGP asal Australia, Mick Doohan, yang total memenangi 54 balapan bersama pabrikan Jepang tersebut.
Sementara rekan satu tim Marquez, Dani Pedrosa, yang telah bersama Honda sejak debutnya di MotoGP pada 2006, berada di posisi ketiga dengan catatan 30 kemenangan.
Freddie Spencer (20 kemenangan), Wayne Gardner (18 kemenangan), Casey Stoner dan Alex Criville (masing-masing 15 kemenangan) juga pernah merasakan kesuksesan bersama Honda.
