Klasemen MotoGP San Marino: Jarak Martin dan Bagnaia Menipis

Hujan mengubah semua skenario dalam balapan MotoGP San Marino, di Sirkuit Marco Simoncelli, Minggu (8/9/2024). Marc Marquez keluar sebagai pemenang, saat rival terdekatnya Jorge Martin dan Francesco Bagnaia kesulitan.

Marc Marquez merangkai dua kemenangan beruntun dalam balapan panjang MotoGP Aragon, dilanjutkan dengan sesi di Misano. Sukses yang tak disangka membuatnya meraup total 259 poin dan duduk di peringkat ketiga.

Saat ini, selisihnya dengan Bagnaia yang finis kedua, tinggal 46 poin. Pembalap Ducati tersebut tak mau ambil risiko merusak balapannya dengan upaya ngotot merebut posisi terdepan. Ia kini terpaut tujuh poin dengan Jorge Martin yang menemui kegagalan dalam strategi flag to flag.

Pembalap Pramac tersebut mencatatkan 312 poin, sedangkan Pecco 305 poin. Enea Bastianini yang melengkapi podium, bertengger di peringkat keempat usai mengemas 250 poin.

Pedro Acosta berada di posisi keenam di Kejuaraan Dunia MotoGP musim 2024 dengan total 152 poin, hanya sembilan poin di belakang Brad Binder di posisi kelima, dan 13 poin di depan penantang terdekatnya, Maverick Vinales.
