MotoGP Prancis: Quartararo kuasai warm-up, Vinales terjatuh
Fabio Quartararo menjadi yang tercepat pada Warm Up Practice (WUP) jelang MotoGP Prancis. Sedangkan Maverick Vinales tersungkur saat menjalani sesi.
Pembalap Petronas Yamaha SRT itu tampil dominan, Minggu (19/5). Beberapa kali berebut posisi teratas dengan rekan setim Franco Morbidelli, tetapi El Diablo yang akhirnya menguasai warm-up.
Memasuki pertengahan sesi, Morbidelli tampak mengendur, sebaliknya Quartararo kian menekan untuk kemudian mempertajam catatan waktu menjadi 1 menit 32,483 detik.
Polesitter Marc Marquez mengamankan urutan kedua, sekaligus memaksa kompatriot Pol Espargaro turun ke tempat ketiga, dengan Cal Crutchlow membawa LCR Honda empat besar.
Sempat terjatuh di Tikungan 3 pada menit-menit akhir sesi, Vinales berhasil mempertahankan posisi kelima. Top Gun mengungguli duo Italiano: Andrea Dovizioso dan Morbidelli.
Urutan kedelapan dihuni Jack Miller, di depang Danilo Petrucci dan Valentino Rossi yang melengkapi 10 besar. Sementara Jorge Lorenzo menyelesaikan sesi pada posisi ke-14.
Vinales bukan satu-satunya yang terjatuh. Lainnya adalah rookie Joan Mir, sampai tersungkur dua kali, dan Tito Rabat.
MotoGP Prancis akan digelar Minggu (19/5) hari ini, pukul 19:00 WIB.
