Kobayashi smashes Tsukuba lap record

By Toyota Gazoo Racing - Kamui Kobayashi breaks the lap record of the Tsukuba circuit after taking part in the time attack in a Super Formula car.

The previous lap record was a 46.935s in a Formula Nippon 2002 car set by Juuichi Wakisaka on January 2004 before Kobayashi broke it in December 2015.

His time was recorded at 44.008s - a massive 2.927s difference in the single-seater category.

The video also gives various angles from the car plus shows the heart rate of Kobayashi while driving the SF car.
