FP1 Moto2 Australia: Schrotter teratas, Bagnaia-Oliveira lima besar
Marcel Schrotter menjadi pembalap terbaik pada FP1 Moto2 Australia, sementara itu Francesco Bagnaia dan Miguel Oliveira masuk lima besar.

Adalah Schrotter, dengan torehan waktu 1 menit 33,788 detik, yang merebut posisi teratas yang dihuni Pasini. Tak lama berselang, giliran Brad Binder menggeser pembalap Italia itu menuju posisi ketiga dengan torehan waktu 0,154 detik dari posisi teratas.
Dua penantang gelar, Bagnaia dan Oliveira, melengkapi lima besar. Pembalap Sky Racing Team VR46 mengisi tempat keempat, dengan torehan waktu 1 menit 34,285, unggul 0,051 detik atas rivalnya yang membela Red Bull KTM Ajo.
Posisi keenam dihuni Iker Lecuona, diikuti oleh Alex Marquez di peringkat ketujuh. Augusto Fernandez, Dominique Aegerter, dan Sam Lowes melengkapi 10 besar.
